What needs to be said about this newest generation of Apple
laptops are than the fact that they are pure, inspired genius.
Precision engineered and carved from a single block of aluminium
this laptop will simply blow your mind.
As with electronic products of this nature the most useful
things to know are the numbers, so here goes. Its screen size is
13.3", It has 4 GB of ram, a 320 GB Hard Disk Drive, a 2.66 GHz
Intel core 2 Duo Processor, 1 x fire wire port, 2 x USB 2.0 ports,
an SD card slot and a 63.5 watt hour lithium polymer battery
providing up to 10 hours of wireless bliss. The list goes on but
these are the most useful numbers to be concerned with. The
operating system that comes with 'Mac's' is the ever praised Snow
Leopard, its simplicity is to be admired. However if your an avid
Windows fan then it takes a bit of getting use to and some files
may not convert right from windows to Mac format and vice versa.
There are numerous extra little details that finish the casing
beautifully such as there is no cooling fan (again shows the
excellence of the apple engineers as it doesn't need one) and the
standby light flashes on and off when the lid is closed, and when
the light is off it looks like there is no light at all.
As far as negatives, there simply aren't very many, other than
the aforementioned file conversion problem from windows there is no
reason not to buy one of these laptops. Yes they are a little
pricey but in the fierce, competitive world of electronics where
the manufacturers are always trying to better one another, you most
certainly get what you pay for.
It barely even needs to be said that this product receives 5 out
of 5 stars on Amazon.co.uk. It really is a tribute to just how good
the engineers and developers at Apple really are. They are miles
ahead of any other manufacturer and these laptops can only get
better. If you can find a reason not to buy one, please let me
know. The fact that they are so good made this article difficult to
write as the point of a review is to look at good and bad points.
That's hard to do when there really are very few bad ones. So buy
now or you'll regret it later.
