For people like me that absolutely hate ironing anyway and can't
stand anything making it any harder or take any longer than it
really has to then this in-cuisine cordless number is a real treat.
Taking away the hassle of getting tangled up in wires as you spin
round to grab the next dreaded piece of crumpled clothing, the
cordless nature of this iron is definitely a major selling
point.
There is a handy clamp on the bottom of the irons base so you
can fasten it onto your ironing board where it is really needed and
be safe in the knowledge that it is secure and not going to end up
being knocked off. The iron itself has a nice range of settings so
there will always be one for the job at hand and when ironing it
actually does a good job of it even on the first run over. Quicker
ironing is better ironing in my opinion, but I'm sure I'm not the
only person who would think that way! It's also not too heavy to
manoeuvre around the ironing board and is therefore great for
tricky bits and pieces like shirts. The best part of the iron
though is definitely the cordless aspect. I for one would never go
back to using an iron attached firmly to the wall by a pesky cord
doing its level best to disrupt my housework.
A slight downside would perhaps be that once you disconnect the
iron from its base it begins to cool down and only recharges and
reheats when it is put back into the holder. This means that you
can't stand and iron for long periods of time without putting it
back on the stand. This isn't really too much of a problem though.
Simply get into the habit of putting it onto the base every time
you put the iron down. Then it can keep reheating as you go!
This is definitely a great option for any people looking for a
first time go at cordless irons. You won't ever want to go back to
corded products again after using this.
